Pabau migration
Move off Pabau with nothing lost
The migration is a module of the platform, not a one-off script. Original Pabau IDs stay on every record and old invoice numbers stay visible.
- Step 1
Extract
Export clients, appointments, treatments, packages, invoices, payments, consent forms, notes and attachments using the Pabau Administrator login.
- Step 2
Stage
Load each export unchanged into staging tables, with file checksums.
- Step 3
Map
Convert Pabau IDs to new IDs and keep the original as an external reference on every record.
- Step 4
Validate
Client, appointment and invoice counts, invoice and payment totals per month, and the outstanding balance per client must match exactly.
- Step 5
Parallel run
Two weeks of daily delta imports while staff test the new module on real data.
- Step 6
Cut-over
One evening with Pabau read-only, a final delta, reconciliation sign-off, then the switch. Pabau stays read-only for 90 days.

Stricter by default for patient records
Patient notes and clinical photos are restricted to doctor and clinic roles, excluded from AI retrieval unless your organization opts in, and follow their own retention rules.
